NEW IN FALL 2024: AID INCREASES FOR ALL NEED-ELIGIBLE STUDENTS
Beginning in Fall 2024, Bryn Mawr College will no longer use loans to meet demonstrated need for students with family incomes below $110,000 and assets under $500,000. Need-eligible students with family incomes above $110,000 will receive $4,000 in additional grants from the College annually to offset loan obligation.
We know that cost is top of mind during your college search.
Generous aid like Bryn Mawr's often makes your actual cost (net price) much less than the sticker price.
One key fact to consider as you choose where to apply?
Because we meet 100% of your demonstrated need, the actual cost (known as the net price) for Bryn Mawr is often much less than our sticker price. Over the last five years, in fact, the cost for Bryn Mawr has either gone down or stayed flat for many low- and middle-income families.
How do we make Bryn Mawr affordable?
Bryn Mawr students graduate with less debt than the national average. Here's how.
- We meet 100% of demonstrated need for all admitted students鈥攚e're one of less than 100 colleges that do this.
- We won't use loans to meet your need if your family income is less than $110K and your assets are under $500K.
- Family income over $110K? We'll offset $4K of your loan obligation with grants annually (that's money you don't pay back).
Wondering how much aid your family might be eligible for?
Grab your parents, set aside an hour, and get friendly with college cost estimator tools like MyinTuition and the Net Price Calculator. When used correctly, they'll begin to give you a sense of what schools like Bryn Mawr would cost for you.
Just a few questions, 3 minutes on average鈥攇o ahead and give it a whirl to get a ballpark of your family's contribution.
The Net Price Calculator takes a deeper dive, so we recommend setting aside an hour.
